Active participation of the European Alliance of SMC/BMC to the Hannover Messe 4 - 8 April 2011
In the period 4-8th of april the European Alliance participated to this years Hannover Messe, the leading trade show for technology. For the very fist time, the visitors were introduced toi an SMC/BMC model car. The objective was to demonstrate the design capabilities of SMC/BMC materials and raise awareness on composites use. The car was exposed in the Solutions Area in the special section of leightweight constructions. With the support of EuCIA, the leading association for the Composite Industry based in Brussels, a booklet named "introducing composites" was develloped to support all visitors interested in the composite materials and technologies.
Following the success of the event and the high interest shown by the visitors and exhibitors alike, an online tool will soon be available showing the car and its different parts in an interactive demo.
